This is a Great site, Thank you so very much for ALL the hard work you
have done. The results that I have found are, well, expected and some are
a jaw dropping surprise. I am glad I found this site. The only thing
that I would ask from you is to tell me how Nutri-Source Pet food ranks
on your top foods. I have tried the search but the name is not here. Can
you please test this dog food and let me know how it ranks, I am

Great
information... We've been struggling for 3 years now to find the best
possible food for our Westie. Recently have taken him off the
Vet
formula to see if he'd take well to Taste of the Wild... he loves his
new food and no signs of him not taking well to it... we don't believe
in feeding our baby grains so this seemed great... just nice
to
see that I've made a great choice... thanks for the wonderful

I
am an animal communicator, I speak with dogs and other animals every
day. When I speak with them, I ask them how they like their food, some
say salty, so they drink a lot of water, some say they have to eat
their food, or there is nothing else to eat.
I
relay this information, which sometimes is swept aside,with comments
such as: "Well he has eaten it for the past 4/5/6 years and never
turned up his nose"! So I ask the animals' owners to read the
ingredients on the bag of food, invariably the first ingredient usually
is corn, then a byproduct and on it goes, a dog owner went as far as to
tell me her husband was a vet and proceeded to read me the ingredients
from the bag, stopping herself midway through, realising what she was
feeding her dog.

can't believe I waited until my dog got sick to research the food she
is eating. She has liver disease (cause still unknown, waiting for
biopsy results) and I'm mortified to see that the food I've been
feeding her (Hill's Science Diet) ranks poorly (zero scoops). I hope
her food wasn't making her sick...I'll probably never know.
What I do know is that I'll be switching her and my other dog to one of
your "5-scoop" brands asap. Nothing is too good for my babies! |

you for a terrific site with unbiased comparisons of many brands all in
one spot. You've done all the work that I've often wondered
about & my experiments with the dogs food brands I've tried,
affirms your findings.
One
finicky dog I'm dogsitting came to me eating only deli meat her owner
would feed her since she refused "all dog foods." After two
weeks, she is completely on Natural Balance canned mixed with
Solid Gold dry food and enjoying it. My bitch in
whelp has beautiful coat and a big belly, she's in such good condition
on Solid Gold.
Once I
stumbled onto your site, I immediately emailed it to all my doggie
contacts & will give the link to all new contacts.

I was so pleased to have found
your website with so much
valuable information. My children and I recently adopted a dog from the
SPCA, and wanted him to be a part of our family for many years to come.
I thought that the food we have been giving him was healthy, but will
now change brands immediately after becoming more imformed about the
ingredients to look for.
Our beloved German Shorthair Pointer died at
11 years old from the Melamine food poisoning. He went from being a
healthy, happy pet to dying in a very sad manner. I would not
wish on
any pet owner.
Thank goodness for people like you who do such valuable
work to preserve the health of our canine companions. I will continue
to check back for the latest updates and will be forever grateful for
the knowledge I now have in raising a healthy dog.

Thrilled to find a site to help

One problem though, I have never found an air tight container that I

love this site! I have spent two
very informative and interesting
hours on here learning about what I have been feeding our
baby.
I was
shocked to read the brand that was SO recommended by our breeder was
zero scoops out of five. I checked the ingrediants on the
label
to the
what to look for suggestions and found a lot of bad stuff in the bag.
I have found two five scoop brands that I will be buying
tomorrow
and
seeing if "Barkley" likes it.
I have been looking for a site like this
after getting so much misinformation by word of mounth. I
