Dobie puppy with sensitive stomach

Tucker, our 4 month old Doberman puppy was having extremely loose stools on a mixture of 3/4 Origin and 1/4 Chicken Soup for Dog Lovers... Both were puppy formulas. We put him on Natural Balance for Sensitive Stomach. The problem disappeared, but what should we do now? We feel uncomfortable having him on a dog food that isn't specifically for puppies. Thanks.

As long as the new food is close to the protein, fat and calcium ratio that is recommended for a large breed puppy it should be fine. An adult dog food that meets large breed puppy recommendations and all other nutritional guidelines should be fine for 4 month old puppy.

I have a 4 month old Dobie. I'm on Merrick Puppy Food still. His stools are still loose, want to switch, need help. I like Pedigree.

If I'm not mistaken, Natural Balance has a formula that covers puppies through adult dogs.
