Best Dog food for a one year old, 13lb, poodle/mix, white coat.

We adopted her from a kill shelter 8 weeks ago, and they were giving her "Natural Choice" for puppies. She was a stray, so we don't know her exact breed or age. They said she is a poodle/mix, about one year old, and she weighs 13 lbs. She looks a lot like a Bichon/Poodle.

The Natural Choice dry food seems to go right through her. She poops like 3 to 4 times a day. We feed her 1/2 cup in the morning and 1/2 in the afternoon. We walk 3 to 4 miles in the morning, and a short walk after dinner.

I don't think it is normal for her to poop so much, and it's moist wet looking poop. Can't you please recommend the best food and amount to feed her?
